May Update

School is out and so ended Spring sports. It's Summer camp time!

The month of May was a busy month. Summer Camps were filling quickly and we were eagerly seeking children in the Smithfield community to offer financial support to attend one of two full day summer camps provided by SRAC and Morgan's Gymnastics.

13 scholarships were presented to attend 2 weeks of full day summer camp; nine children attending SRAC and 4 attending Morgan's Gymnastics. SRAC offers children a variety of activities including swimming, outside fun (hiking, playground, games) art and other craft activities and so much more. Morgan's Gymnastic provides options with a variety of camps, such as Summer Day Camp, Sports Camp and Gymnastics Camp. Both camps provide the physical activities and learning experiences that children will never forget.

We proudly announce that we received a community grant from Walmart Giving! We thank our local store manager for choosing to support the Annie D. Jones Child Enrichment Fund. We will be able to fund more scholarships for children in the Smthfield community to attend recreational and cultural activities.
