Basketball season is here and 10 scholarship recipients are members of the Smithfield Youth Basketball teams. This is the first year that girls received basketball scholarships. Practice is in full swing and the children are excited about the start of game time. Two of our recipients will be performing with the Artistry In Motion Dance Group during the upcoming Smithfield Christmas Parade. These young ladies attend dance lessons for an hour, once a week.
